I have finished my course just a couple of days ago, and I can't access my DIT student e-mail account. It contains some important information. Is there a problem with DIT e-mail system today or is my e-mail account de-activated once I finish my course?

MyDIT doesnt work with the latest Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer etc. How this is considered only a mild inconvenience by DIT I do not know, you can access mydit from older browsers, I used IE6 on a Win XP virtual Machine :rolleyes:. MyDIT did go down earlier briefly but your probably having browser issiues, alternative is to use MyDIT through Gmail or similar, it is what I do but a m8 wanted me to test his login so ie6 worked for that...

You haven't "graduated" until the 31st of October of this year.

not as far as im aware you dont. and OP, you should be able to get into it at this stage, think there was a bit of maintenance going on when exam pins were being sent out.

Graduated Oct 2010, was told in feb '11 [while looking for an important doc] that they delete all your stuff by christmas.

And i was informed that i had been sent notices [to my dit email] of this. of course i had little or no use for the system after i graduated until i needed an old doc, and hence didn't see the notifications.

Even after you graduate DIT email still finds ways to make life difficult.. This is one thing I will definitely not miss now that I am all finished up here ;)
