The new snooker season gets underway at the Academy in Sheffield this weekend with the 1st PTC event. Most of the top players have entered as valuable ranking points are at stake, and with the rankings to be updated before the UK C'ships it's vital that players especially like Hendry and O'Sullivan get off to a good start

Here's the link for the draw:

Although the first PTC started on Saturday, the big guns only joined the event today and already the two finalists from the recent world final have been knocked out.
Ronnie O'Sullivan seems to be taking things a bit more seriously this season and has won his first two matches.
Ken Doherty joins in the fun tomorrow.

Was away for a few days so here's the latest from the first PTC event of the new season, semi finals just started at 4pm,

    O'Sullivan v Joggia
    Perry v Dott.

Have heard that Ronnie is playing well, he's all smiles the last few days and enjoying his snooker, ominous signs for the new season.

    New season, new Ronnie??
