So I want to break out to new condiments other than tomato sauce and mustard is something I’d like to try but what does it go with? The only time I’ve ever seen anyone use it is at Christmas when the annual jar of mustard is cracked open and put on ham. I’m not a big meat eater, I pretty much only eat chicken, does it go with anything else?

Get some American mustard. It comes in a squeezy tube like ketchup rather than the little glass jars of English mustard.

The American stuff is much milder and has a lovely flavour. It's great on burgers and hot dogs and most kinds of cooked meat sandwiches.

Personally I think that American mustard is like watery yellow scutter, try some of the wholegrain one's when cooking, English Mustard with Eggs is super, wholegrain on chicken is savage, sausage sambos and any wholegrain or English/French Mustard is also the Dogs Boll..x

NOOOOO! Do NOT get American mustard! Either English, if you would like it strong, but personally I love Dijon mustard! It's nice and soft in comparison, and I think tastes a lot better! After you try that, if you like that, try wholegrain mustard! You can put them on anything really... sausages, sandwiches, whatever you want!

It goes well with either Ham, Cheese or Fried Egg Sambos.

I could be wrong but I think the yolk has to be broken and the egg flipped. This ensures you don't get egg on your face.

I only like my eggs fried on one side and the yellow bit as runny as possible for dipping :)

Attacked with a knife and fork, yours is the only way to go. But in a sambo the yolk is dripping all over the place. Fine if you're snacking later and there's some on you chin!

well, it all depends on how you put the fired egg into yer Sambo as well. I do it in a way, so when the yolk bursts it runs to the other half of the bread and soaks there before dripping a bit onto my plate. But sure, I can use the crust on me bread to wipe that up.
