Hours Cut

Hi guys. 3 weeks my OH was told everyone in the job would have hours cut. There are 9 employees and all of them were down 4 hours, reason being there wasn’t enough work for all of them.

Forward on to yesterday when a WPP2 ad was seen on the website advertising for someone for a 37 hour week…

    Can this be done?

My guess is that the boss can legally do this although it stinks and is just another example of the massive abuse of the WPP programme.

I think this is such a worrying trend in the workforce this work for free lark. I mean where is anybody going to get a real job anymore at all in the future? The WWP should be restricted to recent graduates or something. And it doesn't even suit them 'cos lots of them are not even entitled to dole
