Where is the best place to print up A3's in Dublin?

I'm asking as reads are 95c which seems like a lot!

    That's actually very reasonable.
What quantity do you need? (The unit price would come down when you hit certain price points)

When you say the best place do you mean the cheapest place?
(wouldn't be the same thing at all)

    True that!

I mean the cheapest place. There's no point in getting 120+gsm for posters that will more than likely be covered over anyway.

    Usual quantities for a gig I suppose are 25, 50 and 100.

Reads are 80c each inc vat (for 100+ copies) on their website.

onlineprinters.com are the only company I would ever use, but you need to buy in bulk to save money. My band got 1000 A2 posters for 170 euro including p+p and a data check on the image for the poster.

But, 100 A2 posters will cost 100 euro.
If the posters dont need to be unique for every gig they might be the way to go. Also, I would advise A2 over A3 for gig posters. The writing can be bigger and read from a further distance

How many of the people who work in onlineprinters.com are likely to go to your gig frankcarty? Here's a mad idea, support Irish jobs.

MOD: Lets keep politics out of this please

A2 are very hard to fit in in a lot of places, hence I'm looking at A3, (the standard for now)

fair enough p.d. - depends where you are in town but try your local printer, if you're supplying a print ready pdf most will cut you a deal to at least match reads.

printlines.ie just sent me a quote of
    50 - A3 colour - €37 a very reasonable 74c a sheet
    100 - A3 colour - €54 a very reasonable 54c a sheet

    There's bargains to be had!

Yep, sounds about right - we'd be €60-70 per 100 A3 with print ready pdfs supplied.

edit: €54 inc vat is a very good price! :)

 so the people in the printing shop are going to go to your gigs? These guys offered a far better service than any other european printing company, not just irish. Why pay over the odds here when it can be sourced elsewhere for cheaper? Its not like I was saving a euro or two, I saved a few hundread euro.

The OP was asking for cheap posters, I mearly posted the cheapest ones ive sourced.

What to ye charge for 1000 glossy A2 posters?

I'd love to respond to you frankcarty, but as p.d. has said - this isn't the appropriate forum.
