Can anyone recommend a good one please. I got one this morning from ebay and even at it's tightest it's too loose & slips down.
    Thanks.

Go into a shop and try them on before you buy. Make sure they fit your iphone properly too. There are many different makes and models to suit such a wide range of phones that some may fit better than others.

LifeStyle in Liffey Valley SC have some Adidas iPhone 4 Holders,(beside the runners ath the window) they are a bit pricey at €20 but are a great snug fir for for the phone and the straps will close over the smallest arm.

I got a SiS Gel Belt (this one) for about a tenner in tescos, the iphone fits perfectly into the zipped pocket, even when its raining and I need to put it in a ziplock plastic bac. Tuck it into your waistband so it doesn't jiggle about.

I'll second this. I have an adidas iphone holder. My phone is 3GS, but I'm pretty sure the holder is actually designed for the iphone 4. (I remember checking it in the shop to make sure it was ok)

I wear the holder on my lower arm and it's just about small enough. While my arms are big, I'm sure it'll fit your upper arm ok if it fits my lower arm.

(A side point, but does no one else find it much more comfortable to wear their iphone on their lower arm? It's much easier to bump it onto the next song or check your time/distance there, and it's more comfortable too.)

Thanks guys, I tried out my friends Belkin one so I have ordered that off ebay - the fancy one with a cord tidy :)

Agreed, vert awkward on the top of the arm, some days I'm halfway out an Im sorry I put it on, although it is nice to be logging all your miles with Runkeeper or similar....

I bought this three months ago, not the most comfortable to wear. Keeps slipping down the arm and when I close it nips my arm occasionally. The velcro keeps opening and the Iphone keeps popping out and yesterday while out running the velcro opened and the phone bounced across the footpath and now it has several chips along the side . The case is not a good fit for the iphone 4 either.

I will be shopping around for another brand

Oh NO! This was a worry on mine with that velcro closure...not good. I have the 4 & did find it a good fit though..

It fits without a protective case alright...but if it the velcro opens and it falls out while you are running at a decent pace it will get chipped

I have chunks out of the side of mine, luckily the screen did not crack.
