I rung one of my chainring bolts on sat so need a new one, it's a 2006 campag centaur ct compact carbon chainset, apparently the part number is FC-CE100 for 5 bolts including the hidden one, but they cost €40 !

Call me miserable but surely €40 for 5 bolts and screws is a wee bit steep ?

Doesn't anyone know of any alternatives i could use, only really need one bolt, was gonna buy the whole set just to have them but not at that price.

    Thanks in advance

AFAIK you can use any chainring bolt of the correct length, it doesnt have to be Campagnolo.

I hate the original campagnolo chainring bolts, they are like butter, easily, very easily destroyed. I got these, lighter than Campagnolo and more rigid and 4 times cheaper.

I wasn't sure exactly what length they are so didn't want to ring anymore until i was sure i had replacements.

Emailed one seller about kcnc bolts and they said they were super record and record specific, they wouldn't work with my centaur which i thought was a bit strange ?

I just remembered that I have a couple of the original record chainring bolts, do you want to try these to see if they fit? If they do you can order the kcnc ones.

Thanks very much for the offer but it's only €11 so i'll go ahead an order the kcnc ones and if they don't fit sure i'll stick them up on adverts ;)

Thanks again for the ebay link.
