    Hi guys,
    Im hoping someone here will be able to help ive applied for nursing as a mature student and hope to get dcu if lucky enough to get a place, im wondering do dcu give deferrals for a year based on financial reasons ive heard they dont give deferrals at all but surely this couldnt be true, all advice greatly appreciated.

    They have given them in CS and other courses, Nursing may be different though. Contact the Course coordinator sooner rather than later.

    Thanks XPS, i rang them today and was told nursing is very popular and deferrals only given in some cases so didnt get much information either way was hoping someone on boards might be on deferral from last year, thanks for your help

    Ah, hopefully they'll defer it. There was no problem with them deferring my course I'm starting this September...and I sent the form in late!

    Thanks Sourire, i think because mature nursing is in such high demand i might have a problem, i posted on another forum and was told by a girl whos mum works at dcu they never give deferrals for nursing maybe i should change the order of course choices on my cao
