ACCA absent from exam

    Hey,

I (stupidly) put myself down for an exam that I should have known I was never going to study for! Just wondering if anyone knows what happens if you're a no-show at the exam; is it marked as a fail or absent??

Reason I ask is because the job will refund me if I pass first time, so no point me attempting the exam knowing I will fail when I can hold off till I have actually done some studying!
That said if they're marking no shows as a fail I think I can kiss goodbye to the fees and put it down to a lesson learnt the hard way

    Thanks!

No you will just be marked down as absent. They only fail you if you attempt it :D
