Thinking of upgrading to these. Custom fitted 4 - SW, 3 and 5 Wood, Driver, putter for £1200. About 1400/1500 euro. Good or bad price?

I got a custom fit set from USA 3-UW and a G15 driver with avix shaft for $1100 including shipping, the i15 driver would have cost me the same. When I say custom fit I had to know the specs myself as I ordered online.

what website you order them from and have you had any problems with them since you got them? I could get the local pro at my club to custom fit me to get the specs but I think I would be wary ordering online! I have ordered from this shop before and they were good clubs just time for an upgrade. cheers for the info though il be looking into it more and changing at the end of the summer.

If you don't mind spending that amount of dough, why not wait for the G20's which should be out relatively soon?

I think the G series are more geared towards high handicappers no? At the height of summer (well last one anyway) when I am playing regularly I should be playing to a 8 handicap. Trying to get that cut down 2/3 strokes and not sure the G series would do that?

I ordered from discount dans as they were very highly recommended by american golfers on one of their popular online golf forums, feedback seems to be very high with them, and I did find them helpful.
They only issues as such was the delay, I am informed that Ping i15 irons have a 2 week waiting list, especially if you order KBS Tour shafts, which I did. And I had a further week to wait for the 50 degree UW. I am told a few weeks delay is usual for custom fits.
Anyhow, if you search for online reviews of discount dans they seem to be very positive. There is a good exchange rate with the dollar, and the i15s are being discounted now Stateside, apparently as there are G20's and maybe i20's on the way in a few months time, so it is a good time to purchase i15s from USA. You will also find a large selection of used i15's at a good price on ebays US site.

If you wanted to, you could get the G15 Driver and Woods and the i15 irons. When the new
Ping 20's come out the i15 and G15's may be much cheaper.
