Hope this thread will be fine here. Im looking for help with iTunes as you have have guessed. I have an album that split into three. I want one big album, so I have made sure every song has the same artist, album and artwork. They still wont merge. In the itunes media folder they are all in the one folder under the album name. Any ideas?

I am assuming that an album split into 3 means 3 separate discs. I am assuming 6 tracks per disc for example purposes.

    Heres how

1 load up each disc into i tunes

Get info disc 1 go to track numbers and make tracks 1 of 18, 2 of 18 etc.
Get info disc 2 go to track numbers and make tracks 7 of 18, 8 of 18 etc
    same steps for disc 3

Only then Select/highlight the 3 separate discs,
Get info-- tick disc number to 1 of 1, key in artist and album title, album art.
Ensure part of compilation is not ticked.
That will do it. I have dropped down over 1000 cds ont my itunes and some box sets could have 6 discs in the set. It works....Have fun

Edit The reason I say not to tick the compilation box is:
I tunes music is stored on your drive in a specified folder, by artist. So eg all The Rolling Stones albums should be in the Folder Rolling Stones. However, if one album is ticked as compilation it will automatically be stored in Compilations. This sounds ok untill you have 1000 albums laid down, and you want to back up your drive. Recently I had such a massive compilation folder that I had to re label each album to clear it out so as to make back up easier.
