I'm looking for a fully offline sat nav app to use with my Archos 101. I have a bluetooth GPS reciever so the signal is covered, but I obviously have no network or internet access so needs to be fully offline. Free or paid is ok.

    Cheers

I know someone who uses copilot and swears by it, available in the market. Im pretty sure it works offline as you download your maps over WiFi after purchase. 25eur or so for Ireland and UK

Copilot is good. And it's pretty good value too.

Copilot seems to be overcomplicated and does sometimes dodgy routing.

I use Sygic and Navigon. Sygic has frequent map updates, very nice UI and big db of POI.
Navigon has great routing, is very simple but expensive and had outdated 2010Q3 maps (however you may find newer ones in "certain" places, because they don't offer official map updates for Android yet).

Navigon with newer maps would be my choice.

I read somewhere that google were thinking of offering full offline navigation from within maps at some stage.
