Where to buy mead in Limerick?

    hey folks looking to get a bottle of mead as an engagement present and possibly a nice scroll with an Irish wedding proverb on it - any ideas? preferably some where local

    I'd say they do, was hoping to avoid having to head out there - does anyone know of a site for the cattle and gift shop? was trying to find one but had no luck

    king johns does stock it in bottles and little earthenware containers

    wouldnt you have to pay to enter castle to get to shop though?
    I havent been there in years, so not sure.

    The gift shop across the road from Bunratty castle sell it, in many different sizes too..

    definitely in the shop underneath meadows Byrne in Bunratty - they have it

    I haven't drank that stuff since I was 16! They used to give it away for free in The Folk Park in Bunratty. The terms and conditions were if you scaled a certain wall, after a certain time you could take as much as you could physically carry.
