    Maybe the funds have not been processed fully if you only lodged today.
    Look again tomorrow or if you have an OD the 180 could have gone into that.

    You have a daily withdrawal cap on your account.

    Say balance = 600
    Available =300

    You can only take out 300 per day.

    Thats not correct,

    On Ulsterbank it takes int oconsiderations your overdraft.... so lets say you have 321 euro in your account plus an overdraft of 100 it will be like this:

    Balance: €321
    Available: €421

    Basically if you have payments coming out its taken out of your available balance first :)

    Thanks, I have no overdraft option on my account, but i did purchase something there a while ago for 200 dollars approx.

    But even last week i had €180 in the account but only €179 available?

    could you shed light on this.

    Cheers

    It could be the following.

    Waiting on a lodged chq to clear.
    Waiting for items to be posted to your account ie visa debit transactions
