yet again I hit this milestone where I cant assemble my upper, I just lack the knowlege I can do the lower just fine, its all done but the upper is just taunting me, so far I just have the forward assist in it and thats it, still need to do dust cover and charging handle (which I know how to do) and hop up cover.

any help at all is much appreciated.

Do you already have the dust cover assembled, or do you need to assemble it as well? My advice is to ditch the hop up cover - just gets in the way, in my opinion. The charging handle, provided it's assembled, just sits into the top of the receiver, and is attached to a spring, which hooks on to the receiver.

All you have to do with the dust cover (provided it's assembled), is place the spring in the middle, correctly aligned i.e. should be under tension when upright, and then feed the bar through the hole. That's all there is to it :)
