iPhone 4 glass replacement

Does anyone know if its possible to just replace the front glass on an iPhone 4 as it was on the 3gs.

Wife's dropped hers & seemingly they transferred the insurance from her last phone (wasnt an iPhone) and its wont cover it.

Just been quoted €150 as they say you need to replace the lcd as well ?

got this done for a business iPhone recently and the cost was €100 from a Limerick phone shop.
if it was my own I might have tried a bit of DIY. you can buy these online very cheap with instructions.

is it just the glass? can you open apps, make calls

Yep phone works perfectly, just cracked glass.

I replaced a 3gs screen last month but I understand that on the 4 you have to dismantle the whole thing from the back

Won't cost you anything near that if you do it yourself
