    does anyone know any good websites to download backing tracks with just drums and bass. Part of duo looking for better sound

    I don't use it much but people recommend it.

    They sound TERRIBLE... The drums are godawful!

    OP, if you're looking for things to use with your band, would you not try making them yourself?

    Yeah, just had a listen and they are awful, sounds like poorly made midi files using crappy synths.
    I'd book marked after someone recommended it but hadn't used it.

    www.guitarchaos.com has a good selection of BT's. Quality of some are good, others not so much. I personally like to use Guitar Pro 5 and addictive drums to make my backing tracks. Better quality that most out there but you're doing it from scratch.
