Can somebody shed some light on when and how one can apply for any of the student jobs on campus, eg. bookshop, library and JCR. T'would be fantastic.

If they're hiring, it'll be in the weekly SU Communications mailout I'd wager, I know the bookshop certainly do so.

I think your best bet would be to just go into them when you can with your CV and ask.

I've seen jobs in the bookshop and JCR advertised before so I would say the next time they need someone it will be the same process ie. you'll know about it when they come round.

As for the library, I know someone who know's someone who has a job there for the summer, so I'd say their summer positions are already filled.

But if you're looking for work, you should never shy away from throwing a CV in everywhere anyway. I'd say the SU might be a good bet too.
