if its the kj works one , i was told , but not sure if its true , that it has a strange length of barrel. also that the barrel need to rest on the tip at the top that screws off (so it wont bend or rattle). also the stock barrel in them for a sniper is very wide diameter.

this is what i was told when i rang up a shop the stocks the kjworks gas m700

I fitted a tightbore barrel (640mm) to mine and it was around an inch or so behind the tip, I chopped the outer barrel back around an inch and a half and put in a silencer adaptor held in by some epoxy putty it does the job, i had to get the adaptor turned down on a lathe, there is a shim further down the outer barrel.

Ive got Flacon Set including 6.03 barrel made for KJW m700 from:
    http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/falcon-6-03-precision-inner-barrel-set-for-kjw-m700.html
    it fits perfect.

    power springs:
    http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/falcon-steel-enhanced-kit-for-tanaka-kjw-m700-part-no-33-37-38.html

    and bolt rubber:
    http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/gandg-rubber-set-for-tanaka-m700-m24.html
you will use just bolt (round) rubber/seal from this set.

All of that made my KJW m700 very, very accurate.

jeremy which version you got ? the take down or the police one? the guys at ehobby seem to be a lil bit confused and i quote from their site

This is from the barrel link:
"Suitable for KJ Works M700 Series Airsoft Gas Blow Black GBB Rifle"
This is from the spring link:
"Suitable for KJ Works M700 Series Airsoft Gas Blow Back GBB Pistol"

:mad:why my KJW 700 doesnt have blowback and wont fit in my serpa holster?

trololing apart thanks for the info mate i ve been looking for a kit to upgrade my M700 without having to cut the barrel or any other custom jobs i ve seen around :D

I have police version bought of AirSoftEire 3 months ego. If you have KJ Works m700 police version the barrel is right for you. Dont worry about blow back info. That is mistake. There is no m700 police version with blow back.
I have this in my m700 police version and fits perfect and works great. No need any dremel cuts, custom jobs, fabrications...etc;) Sorry the only custom job I did was tape in the middle of barrel to make kind of spacer. But thats it. Falcon barrel is a bit longer then Kj Works one but in set you get nice adapter. Afterwards you can even fit silencer but you dont have to. I didnt as there was no need. Rifle looks perfect.
Springs from this link will give you more power if you want and with this a bit more accuracy.
Rubber for bolt will give you more air seal.
Ouhhh... sorry forgot about another custom job. Have got some teflon tape from B&Q (3euro) to get better air seal between barrel and hop up rubber. But it is not a must.

thanks for all the info .....
but i have just left it as it is but i have done the teflon tape around the barrel for a better air seal and it have inproved it somewhat . everything else is stock and it,s shooting spot on so i think i,l just leave it as is ...
once again thanks for all the info .
