Application submitted to herself, waiting on a decision. Might have to drive over Sunday morning from the city.

Application update: Now dependent on sister-in-law doing the babysitting while herself goes to Take That.

Application approved. Someone reminded me it was Father's Day this weekend and that tipped it in my favour.

Looks like a nice route, hope the weather holds!

Just signed up for this and booked into a hostel for the night before.

It'll be my first 200k with 168k being the most I've done at the Tour De Cure this year. :D

was registered but due to a crash in kerry(collarbone, ribs) i will miss it.:(

was good fun last year and the food was amazing! they had people serving up grilled fish and hot food, salads too. even had a strawberry mousse stop! craic was superb and the scenery is second to none! loved it! will miss it. just hope for you lads that the route is closer to 200km this time. last year it was a surprising wee bit longer!

Yes i'm signed up for this one. Did it last year. Hope the weather isn't too bad for it. Great event. Unfortunately it was 213km last year but they have assured us that it will be 200km this year. For the last 13km i was freewheeling home last year.

First 100km is fine, 2nd 100km has plenty of climbs including a 16km drag out of Bantry.

I'll be there. Managed Wicklow last week so hopefully this 200 will not be a problem especially if the weather holds.

Seeing as I'm off the bike for the weekend I feel as though I am perfectly placed to comment on this ride. Its gonna be a tough one, hats off to anyone who completes it as the weather doesn't look like it'll be the best. There can be hard winds along the coastal sections so bring plenty of sugar and zen. If your feeling tired look for Mt. Gabriel and the Priests Leap in the horizon and say to yourself, at least I dont have to go up there!

    Enjoy and best of Luck!!!
