how new would the pasture have to be to stich in clover. could you put some in on a pasture that was reseeded 10 years ago or should be only ones that are 2-3 years old?

surely hardly worth the expense for an old ley?

What weeds are in it? Clover seed can be shaken on to bare silage fields, reckon in this weather it would grow after a coat of watery slurry. Is there any ryegrass in it, (red stems)?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Ya, needs to be mixed with fertiliser, something like 0.10.20. You can't put in 7 or 8 acres worth at a time because all the clover will go to the bottom of the spreader and be gone. Put in enough for 1 acre at a time. Only add the clover when you get to where you are sowing it.
