    Hey everyone,

I will be going to Japan at the end of the month. I'm applying for a working holiday visa and one of the requirements is that I submit my overseas travel insurance policy.

I haven't got any travel insurance yet. I'm insured with the Vhi (plan B) if that's any good. If not what is the best and cheapest place to get travel insurance??

I've been onto a couple of sites and the prices vary a lot, so what is too cheap and what is too expensive??

And what should I be making sure I'm covered for.

    Thanks
    Lyra :D

That you are covered for the year! As far as I know most travel insurances are for short stays (i.e. 30 days etc).

Yeah I found some sites that cover extended stays i.e. the full 196 days but while one gave me a quote of €83 another gave me a quote of €223 :O

So is there that much of a difference between them or is one just underpriced/overpriced?
