How to inform Welfare about starting a contract job

I've been offered a 6 months contract job, I was wondering if anyone can guide me as to what to do? I'm currently receiving SWA from Health board and signing in every month in social welfare office, who do i inform? do i inform welfare and Health Board or just welfare? Also do i have to go for next sign in day which is end of next week and i'm starting work beginning of next week? Also will they give me anything in writing saying that i've informed them about my new employment?
And I know its bit too early to ask this but after i finish my 6 months contract, does anyone know if i can apply for JA/JB again and what the procedure would be, will it be same as if i was applying for the first time or will it be different as i had already applied for this before?

Any help on this would be appreciated
    Thanks & Rgards

Just phone them or call in any time that suits. They are perfectly happy about people getting jobs.

Do sign on as I presume you want the money.

one more thing, i'm currently getting SWA from health board as my JA?JB is in process, so will my informing to welfare office be sufficient or should i inform health board as well abt me starting contract work.

It would be useful to inform them. If you collect the money, stop collecting, but if its transferred toy our bank account, you do need to tell them. Not telling them may be an offence in such a case.

Thanks Victor, one more question, I know its kind of repeat question but u see i don't want to get in trouble. I'm also receiving Rent supplement. do i stop rent supplement straight away or do i take for the month of june as the rent supplement is paid at the end of month. the reason i ask this coz i'm starting in middle of june. Will i be breaking any law by taking the rent supplement for the month of june seeing that i was unemployed for half of the month and i have already paid rent of june and the rent supplement for which i was entitled for will be sent out to me only by end of june.
Hope i am able to convey my question across

AFAIK you are allowed keep certain benefits for a number of months, but I don't know which ones. You will need to ask.
