I recently got engaged and got a gold ring, which I wanted! I eventually feel all my jewellery will be gold so for me it was more timeless. I recently got engaged and got a gold ring, which I wanted! I eventually feel all my jewellery will be gold so for me it was more timeless. However, at the moment my gold jewellery collection is pretty scarce and consists of my ring, a watch, a plain chain and earrings! I have some nice silver jewellery that i'd like to wear sometimes including a silver watch that I'd like to wear every now and then. Is it ever ok to wear gold and silver? As I'd obviously want to wear my ring!

I can honestly say that I have never noticed what colour jewellery anyone has been wearing. I would never consider that my engagement ring should match the rest of my jewellery. So yes, it's definitely okay.
