Few weeks back I started to investigate possibility to upgrade my one and half year old HTC Tattoo phone and then I decided to give a try to Cyanogenmod 7 which has currently Android 2.3.3 version for Tattoo. So after three weeks period I am still happy using much never OS in my phone than original 1.67 provided by Vodafone/HTC. I feel like having totally new phone now :)

Custom roms are excellent. they do totally feel like anew phone when you install them. im using Honeysense HD on my Desire HD at the moment and I love it.

+1 for custom roms. Putting one on my desire made it practically a new phone.
