I've started watching it over the last week or two and I love it. I've just started watching season 5 now.

Ari (Jeremy Piven) is great in it. When he gets mad and goes off on one of his rants I do be in stitches.

Ari Gold makes that show what it is, some nice wimmins in it

Final season due to start next month. Then there is a movie to wrap it all up.

I've also heard rumours of an Ari spin off series after Entourage wraps up. Not sure if anything has been confirmed on that.

Great Show. I hate how RTE keep moving the days it's on, and show it fairly late. Makes it hard to keep following it.
They used to have it on a decent time on Monday nights.

Has the movie been confirmed? Not to sure if it would be successful, it mainly a show for men and unlike sex and the city I cant imagine men going to see it in mass like wimmins for sex and the city.

Although love the show, Ari steals every scene hes in but hes not the only notable character in the show Drama gets some great lines to. Ill be sad to see it go. Cant wait for the new season, any word yet on when itll be shown over here?

    Ari is a legend.

"I don't care if Justin Bieber calls and wants me to negotiate the rights to his virginity, I don't want to talk to him."

Not confirmed but pretty much everyone involved wants it to happen.

Really looking forward to the new season. Lots of people say it falls down badly in seasons 6 and 7. Yeah 7 is probably the worst of the lot IMO but I still enjoyed it.

I've never looked forward to a new season as much as I am to the new Entourage, I only started watching it in January and just got up to date towards the end of season 7. I personally don't think it's gone downhill at all, every second or so season ends badly for them, I'm just dying to see what happens next!

And Ari Gold, what a man. He's diffinetely Spin-off material

It's going to be very interesting to see what becomes of Vince and his
drug addiction, as he's throwing his career further and further away with every episode. It's strange to see how different he has become from the first number of seasons, but I guess that's par for the course for most movie stars!

Enjoyable show, the last season wasn't quite as good as previous seasons, but still worth checking out. It's interesting to see what's gonna happen with Vince next season... I always had a prediction that Johnny Drama would emerge as the major superstar by the time the show wraps up. Despite him obviously being "the funny one" he's a great character and deserves a nice ending to his story. An Oscar for J.Drama would be a class way to wrap it up :D

I find "E" a bit annoying, but Ari owns the show imo. His rants are the stuff of legend. That scene when he bursts into his building with (iirc) a pair of super soakers and fires a load of people - "Terminator style", as he said, never grows old. Awesomeness. Lloyd and Ari are a very funny duo, the abuse poor ol Lloyd takes is something else... :pac:

Just finished watching all 7 Seasons, a great show, Ari is hilarious!! the episode where he was in bed and said to the wife he wanted some, she asked what time it was, Ari replied with: "i dont know, my cock doesnt wear a watch" :D
Ari and Lloyd are like a married couple when they are in a scene together, i really like Drama and Turtle too, good characters. :)
    Roll on Season 8!!

And I'd say most European fans will be watching it on the 25th rather than waiting months for it to be shown here, series 7 only started on RTE about two months ago!

Looking forward to this, pity it's the last season. I think they could have had another few good years. Also very nice to see it scheduled so close to the US airing and at a reasonably decent time.

Vincent Chase's Entourage mansion sold for $4.2m as filming comes to an end

I would have bid for that if I'd known, it would have only been for €100 but still:P

    From Animated Views.
    http://animatedviews.com/2011/entourage-cartoon-johnny-bananas-lined-up-for-release/
Entourage Cartoon, Johnny Bananas Lined Up For Release

One of HBO’s hit shows, Entourage, will have a cartoon attached to it in the coming eighth season to gain publicity. Mark Wahlberg, producer, will also be involved in the marketing campaign. The new cartoon is called Johnny Bananas and stars Kevin Dillon as the voice of main character. Dillon plays “Drama” on Entourage and his new character also bears the same name: Johnny “Drama” Chase. Johnny Bananas is about a gorilla with anger issues, who slowly gets madder until he goes bananas.

Does that mean that one of our precious eight episodes is going to be a Johnny Bananas cartoon?!

    Think they're making a movie.

The last series was actually decent...series 7 was really bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,322 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

The last series was actually quite bad. The "Will he, won't he" over Drama and his show, Vince not being in a movie AGAIN, him chasing some woman for seemingly no reason who
then decides to marry him in the blink of an eye.... completely out of nowhere
, Eric's whiney ass over Sloane (in fairness to him, i'd be the same if it was Sloane.... sigh). Turtle's rubbish storyline about the tequila and the restaurant.

Turtle: "Vince, I sold all my shares, I could've been rich".

Vince: "Don't worry Turtle, I bought them for you without telling you, so you're still rich"

    Turtle: "Yippeeeee.........."
The writing this season was so lazy and it didn't feature the show's unsung hero enough... Lloyd!

It really should've ended long ago! I don't even think i'd be hughely interested in a movie.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the last two seasons I have to say

The only one that kept me watching this one was Aris storyline and even then you could see it coming a mile away how that one was going to pan out.

What annoyed me about Entourage was in the first 4/5 seasons they were much longer, the stories were dragged out, but in a good way - you were constantly on edge waiting to see what would happen next - the writing was much better also.

The last two seasons saw them try cram as much shít into the 10 and then 8 episodes and it just ended up looking rushed and imo, shít

Indeed. And in this last series, the dragged everything out over 7 episodes and then wrapped it all up in the 8th. it was obvious how it was gonna go, and the last episode was by far the best of the season in my opinion, but still......... glad it's finally finished and didn't go by way of The Simpsons or whatever

True - the last episode was the best - It should've ended with season 7 though - if they'd culminated it with season 8 - could've been much better and allowed the storylines to develop more over the combined episodes

I hope Californication finishes up with the latest season coming out as I've heard it will - too many TV shows border on being cult classics only to drag on milking them for cash - it genuinely upsets me to see it happen!

I'd recommend Californication & Spartacus - they're the only things on TV that can match Entourage for nudity - Californication is much funnier, Spartacus is serious but there's a sex scene every twenty mins or so :pac:

The writing in the last season was shambolic.

Could you imagine any woman taking you back after you double crossed her fathers best friend and slept with her mother?

And Vince marrying yer wan out of nowhere? Just because she was the one? Ridiculous...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,620 ✭✭✭Graham_B18C

Yeah that was the last episode. I have to say though, I really enjoyed season 8, I thought 7 was a let down though.

The final episode should of been a wee bit longer too, there was a lot crammed into the half hour

like yev said vince getting married all of a sudden was a bit of a stretch. turtle and drama just took a back seat n da last episode. very crammed and rushed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 168 ✭✭mise_me_fein3

If they do a movie will it have much connection to the last series?

I hope not, as a married movie star is no fun. Series 8 was not terrific but 7 was appalling.

At least they finished now. They probably dragged the whole thing out a little too much.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,826 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Just watched the final episode there. Sooo rushed. It felt liked we had skipped forward by about three episodes. It appeared that all three women just suddenly lost their backbone. I liked the Sophia character but they totally ruined it in that episode.. so totally against the grain of what her character was in previous episodes.
