Seems like a good high scoring game

although seems to be over as a contest now

The hurling is a joke, I fully expect Kilkenny to put up a cricket score on Wexford!

Wexford have been under the radar for some time.I would expect them to reach the Leinster Final.

Agree, they came out of nowhere really, have been in transition the last few years although they brought the dubs to extra-time last year, Jason Ryan is a very good manager by all accounts.

Wexford shouldn't be taken for granted this year. They ran Dublin very close last year IIRC and have looked very good so far this campaign. They'll be favourites to get to the Leinster Final now!

That's hugely impressive from Wexford.

Westmeath are not a bad side at all, but that's a huge score to put up. They certainly won't be a pushover in the Championship...could even have a crack at Leinster on their day. If Louth almost did it last year then a free-scoring Wexford side could cause an upset.

If wexford hadn't have gone to sleep in the last 15 minutes it could have been more and westmeath wouldn't have got those last four points, Very impressive by wexford and can hopefully reach a leinster final this year now

Hold on now, Louth have to beat Carlow first (as a Louth man, I take nothing for granted).

Listened to the game on Newstalk and Wexford seemed very impressive. Despite getting promotion from Division 3, I still have my doubts about this Louth team - we had some very poor performances in the League and gained promotion through something of a freak set of results (at one stage, it looked like Waterford would beat us in the last game). Wexford seem to have a fair bit of momentum about them and you can't beat having a couple of championship games under your belt.

If I was betting, I'd be backing Wexford for the Leinster final on the 2 performances in the championship so far.

HAHAHAH I have nothing against Louth but read this earlier and just saw that Carlow beat them.

Talk about jumping the gun(Poster 1 and 2)....

Well i think i could be excused for that one , if it was new york they were playing i'd still thought they would have been beat badly.Football in carlow was gone to the dogs , some players didnt even want to play for the county!

Fairplay to them though, hopefully it will be a new era for them i thing that brendan murphy back from aussie rules has really lifted them
