car vibrates when reversing

Any time I reverse my car in to my driveway which is on a slight hill, the car vibrates or rocks/coughs as I let up the clutch and press the accelerator simultaneously. Same happens when I select 1st gear and leave up clutch and press accelerator simultaneously on a hill start, with no handbrake engaged. That's the best I can describe it.

What would be the problem? Is the clutch on the way out? Going for a full service in the next few weeks and would like to know exactly what could be the problem so that I can get my mechanic to have a look.

Car is a 2000 Audi 1.9 TDI PD engine.

    Thanks in advance.

It might be an engine or gearbox mounting broken.
