I'm off to to the pub. They'd probably have it on there.

Someone else lower down the TV pecking order could have used this summer vehicle to build up their presenting profile.

But we know RTE's priorities too well by now.

Will avoid at all costs. :D

Pensioners have bought their bingo cards. They'll cross them off as they find. If there's not an Amanda Brucker or Amy Hubermann in their box they'll swtch.

A sick baby. Very sad but when did they change the law to say that every RTE chatshow has to feature one?

Only caught the end of it. Heard gouging mentioned. Was he gouging other people's eyes out?

Seems to be a theme in RTE, get the **** on who likes to gouge.

talking about Miriam and RTE scraping the bottom of the barrel, Alan Quinlan as guest?? is this guy really a top level sportsman? just a mediocre, ordinary, run of the mill, average flanker and a fringe player for both Munster and Ireland. RTE definately on a shoestring budget now.!!

Probably only 9 people watching the show anyway.!! total rubbish, an ego trip for Miriam and a reward for being part of the golden circle in RTE.

    Blah

Nothing bad, nothing good, just blah

Yeah a load of inoffensive, self serving, self promotion for guests and presenter.. Quinlan was on with O'Connor only a few months ago anyway... The "nice"-ness of it all got too much, so I turned on Saw (which I also recorded).. that was a change of pace, let me tell you..

Last night's programme reminded me of that "Health of the Nation" programme that Dr. Mark Hamiliton presents.

Miriam's guests spoke about heart problems, depression and breast cancer. It wasn't entertainment :(:(

The point I was making or trying to make was that for an "entertainment" show there was alot of serious medical issues covered on the one night. I just thought it would have been better if there was more of a balance, it felt more like a medical programme last night.

I want to sincerely wish you the very very best with your treatment and I'm glad that the guests helped you.

    Pile of daggins.
    160 Euros worth of daggins.

A light entertainment show that is neither light nor entertaining........... except of course if you are on the RTE gravy train.
