Iomega Screenplay/alternative with CRT TV

I haven't moved to a flat-screen TV yet, but will do whenever my trusty CRT TV decides it has had enough. So, no HDMI connection available.

I have converted several DVDs to ISO and would like the convenience of a media player so that the DVD collection can be stored away.

I've looked at the Iomega ScreenPlay DX HD Media Player 2TB on Amazon and am impressed, but have done too much research and now don't know whether it is the best product to go for. It says it has ISO playback and a LAN connection, and both of these features are important to me, however I can't find a recent review (within the past six months) and the earlier product reviews are scathing.

Has anyone bought one of these new boxes and are the any good? Is there a better alternative considering I don't have HDMI yet?

    Thanks.
