hi. bought a line 6 guitarport rifftracker(version 2.0) aaaages ago and didnt get around to setting it up(for various reasons). i had heard stuff recorded on one which sounded fine and it was recommended to me as a cheap and cheerful way of getting demos down.
anyway began setting it up this week and found that i needed a registration number. which i cant findbut i ll get on to line 6 about that. what i find odd is that it seems to require internet access for the recording side of things. (rifftracker) this seems nuts. not to mention impractical due to the patchy coverage round here. is there a way of just working offline and bypassing that requirement? it just seems excessive.
