    Hi, I am buying a watch off Amazon.co.uk and it says that item is usually dispatched within 3 to 4 weeks. Can anyone tell me will I really be waiting that long?

    Is it Amazon direct, or a merchant seller using Amazon?

    Sounds like they don't have it in stock and will source it when an order is placed.

    Amazon themselves usually ship within a day if item is in stock. Takes another 1-3 days to get here.

    It's from Amazon direct. The watch is a design from 2006. Probably better off looking for something from their current range as its more likely to be in stock.
