OL Maths paper 1 Solutions !

    Hey everyone ! After coming out of my maths exam today , Initially I was gutted ! :( But thinking back, I really cant predict if I done well on it ?

    I was just wondering if anyone new any websites for the Solutions of Qestions 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 && 8 ? :)

    I would really appreciate it as, I would love to have an Idea of how I done!

    I thought it was pretty cheeky of them to put the papers from today up on examinations.ie without putting up the marking schemes :p
    I can see their reasoning behind it too though I suppose.

    Have they made them yet? I was told they didn't do out the marking schemes until after the exam. Besides, they aren't anywhere near finalised (or so I assume).

    Yeah thats correct. They dont make them so they can try and balance it out reflecting on how challenging the students found it.

    Well that makes even more sense then. For some reason I assumed they made them when they set the exam..

    I got told they set them in the days following the exam. And they're altered depending on how students are doing. So the questions that almost no one got would be worth less points than the average c part.

    Nope.. you could do them out though with your book etc! :D

    I'm sure there's probably a rough / very provisional marking scheme at this stage, but the A/Chief and advising examiners will correct a sample number of papers and meet to adjust it then, and further adjustments are possible at the marking conference or even later. Marking schemes will not be on the website until late summer after results come out.


    Any other bits, please take to the aftermath thread for this paper.
