Daugher vs Father

    Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has ever heard or has any knowledge on the possibilities/outcomes of pursuing a civil case against their own father?

It would be for previous physical assault, and mental abuse. There could perhaps be a case for current harassement and a few other things.

Just wondering if it's in anyway feasible or possible.

I'm well over 18 and this is not a "revenge" issue.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

I'm afraid we cannot give legal advice - your best course of action is contacting a solicitor and telling them about what has happened and what you'd like to do and getting a professional opinion as to whether it would be feasible in your own case.

    All the best.
