    Hi,

Just wondering if anybody on here has worked in event staff/security? I have an interview for a summer position but I was just wondering what it will be like or what it might involve?

    Thanks...

done event staff at concerts for nearly 3 years - Its very much a nkow somebody job

a few different aspects but I say cause you're not part of any special teams you'll be mostly

    - Garding fences
    - Ushering crowds
    - Checking tickets
    - Handing out water

Alll the security are set teams by people that all know each other.

What are the hours like? Will you have a set timetable like a week ahead or is it the sort of job you would be called to a few hours before?

Yeah I don't know anybody who works in that area so I suppose you are probably right.

Well i worked for one of the big 2 event companies and I knew somebody so I worked nearly ever weekend during the summer

To see what hours you'd be working just look at what major concerts the company is hosting and what time they're on
