    Hi,
I've a Sky remote (URC 1615-01) which has started sticking on the lefthand side. I'm guessing there was some soft drink spillage at some stage, though there are denials all round :)

The question is, how do I take it apart to clean it? I've used isopropyl alcohol to clean sticky keyboard keys before, and it's very easy. But I just can't figure our how to take the Sky remote apart.

I've removed the battery cover & batteries, and the central screw (the only one I can see....) Where to now?

    Any advice gratefully received!

    Thanks

If it's not SKY+ you can pickup a compatible remote in the pound shops,

TotalTV shaped like a SKY remote and dark blue package.

If you have younglings it's not a bad idea to have a generic remote for changing channels and put away the expensive to replace one until you need to change settings.
