    Hi,

The company I work for only allow access to exchange server from company Blackberries, but i want to read my work email on my android.

I found a Google Application that allows me to sync my calendar with my google calendar but I can't find anything to sync my mail the same way.

Is there a way to do it?

    Thanks.

I was looking for the same myself recently to sync with my email on my Microsoft Outlook Web Access account, and I couldn't do it... It's seems you need to contact the IT dept to get the correct details from what I read to sync your email account correctly...

It wasn't as simple as filling in a few details like setting up other e-mail accounts..

Others here might know ways around it or an App...

It depends on if your work allow it or not. To use blackberries you have to a blackberry server and they probably have this in place and may have turned off access to other mobile devices. So you are best of asking your IT department whether it is possible or not

Sounds like you need an app that can emulate the blackberry connection.

I think they are pretty strict about what the allow access with, I was hoping to get some sort of PC application that syncs mails for me. similar to this one for calendar:

Try Touchdown Exchange, there is a demo version to check to see if it works before paying up. It didn't work for me, but I think a lot of people find it good. Also, there is K9 Mail, this also is supposed to work.

Basically, if your IT department has disabled activsync, then you need an app that communicates to the exchange server via the OWA interface....the above are supposed to work so try them....but if your IT dept has it locked down good and tight, none of these apps will work.

    There's an app on bestandroiddownloads.com
Only seen it earlier but since I don't use Outlook I didn't bother getting it.
It's at the top of main page. Green icon. Sorry can't remember the name of it

( edit) I'm just so nice I went and got link.
