    Hi,

I have a storage options IP camera which I can view fine in work but I want to be able to view it from home as well. How do I do this?

I have O2 broadband in work.

    Thanks

    More information needed !!!

What type of broadband ? DSL/3G etc

you need to setup NAT on your router
Typically you would need a fix(static) IP address from your ISP
    or you can use DYNDNS
this is not easy to setup as there are lots of settings that must be correct if this is to work !!!

here's how I do it assuming you have proper broadband.

Setup a dyndns account here's the link and its free www.dyndns.org
now setup a NAT account on your work router and enable it
try logging onto the dyndns account from home this should direct you to your IP camera !

note: some routers need to have there firmware updated first.

    Thanks for the reply.

I have o2 broadband..think its Zytex or something router.

I went into the router settings, Nat and went to port forward where I put in the IP of the camera and the port.

I can log on to the IP in work and it works fine.

If it was to work do I just type the camera IP into the URL and it should come up?
    Thanks again.
