    Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a VFR 750 this weekend. What I'm looking for is a Gen 3 ('90 - '93) or a Gen 4 ('93 - '97). Problem is any I can find are very far away from Cork. These both have single sided swingarms, so if it doesn't it's a Gen 2 and I'm not interested. Should be in pretty good nick.

If anyone has one that they were thinking of selling, PM me, I will definitely be interested.

    Thanks

Have you tried JT motorcycles? He is likely to have pretty much anything you can think of. 021 477 5888

And if you have never been to JT motorcycles, be prepared for an extensive poke around and then waiting while JTs phone keeps ringing! Lovely lad.

Thanks, was out there alright, had one tatty one, but I find him awkward to deal with, I know others swear by him, so probably just me.

    Fair 'nuf.

I know Southern Racing in Midleton have an older VFR but I don't know which one or a whole pile about it. Looks pretty clean though - 021 463 3511

    Cheers - I'll give them a bell.

[EDIT: They had one but it's sold :( ]

I don't understand confining yourself to Cork, tbh.............it's not as if the bike wouldn't make the return trip.............

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

To cut a long story short I have a wife and 2 kids so wandering around for days at a time looking for bikes is a non-starter (unless I hire a good divorce lawyer of course).

Having said that I have bought one in Galway so not looking anymore.

    Thanks all.
