Hi all, quick question to kick the forum off!

I have been thinking about dyeing my hair for a few months now (having never done so before). Ideally I would like to go to a salon but funds are really tight at the moment so unfortunately not an option.

I had a baby 6 months ago and just feel like i need a bit of a change just for me :) My hair is a light brown colour, it naturally gets some blonde streaks in summer along the fringe.

What do ye reckon? I don't think I want anything too drastic, but a change all the same. Maybe just a semi permanent colour at first to see if it suits, I don't want to get into a mad cycle of dying to try to get back to my natural colour :P

    Thanks a million guys :)

I'm growing out my highlights and using Herbashine in dark blonde, it's a good product, wide range of colours, fades out quite evenly over the month or so as well. Might be worth a try.... maybe something red? I don't know about going darker in the summer, that said this summer is more like winter!

Thanks Lainey. I havn't heard of herbashine before. Is it widely available?

Yep - Dunnes have it, I think Tesco, and Boots etc - smaller stores don't have the full range of colours though.
