Hi there, Anybody know the good and bad years these avensis were brought out in? I heard that when a new model comes out its usually got problems and would have those issues sorted the next year. Looking at 2006 onwards. Thanks

Anybody know the good and bad years these avensis were brought out in? I heard that when a new model comes out its usually got problems and would have those issues sorted the next year.

Looking at 2006 onwards.

2006 to 2009 model was just a mildly restyled version of the model introduced back in 2003. Most of the known issues with the 2003 to 2005 model were ironed out with the facelift in mid 2006. Facelifted diesel onwards also got a new 6 speed gearbox and went from 116bhp to 125bhp.
