Springboard Initiative Courses at IADT

    Unemployed or recently made redundant?

    IADT offers free courses for those eligible under the Irish Government's Springboard Initiative.

    Courses on offer:
    Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Entrepreneurship – Level 8 Award
    Certificate in Mobile Software Development (Android) – Level 8 Supplemental Award
    Certificate in Mobile Software Development (iOS) – Level 8 Supplemental Award
    Certificate in Online Business Trading - Level 7 Special Purpose Award
    Certificate in Enterprise Development - Level 8 Special Purpose Award
    Certificate in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) - Level 8 Special Purpose Award


    To be eligible for a place on an IADT Springboard programme, you must:
    · Have a history of employment and be actively seeking work
    · Be in receipt of one of the following Department of Social Protection payments for a period of at least 6 months prior to the course start date: Jobseeker’s Benefit payment or Jobseekers Allowance payment or One Parent Family Allowance payment or Be signing for social insurance contribution credits

    IADT aims to facilitate entry to and participation in the Springboard courses. The admission of students to courses on the basis of accreditation of prior and experiential learning is an important part of this process. Where applicants do not meet the formal entry requirements for a course they may apply for admission under the IADT Accreditation of Prior and Experiential Learning (APEL) policy.
