    He was one of the very very few decent politicians around and we were very lucky to have him in our area.

    Far far to young to lose a life.

    Thoughts are with his wife and children today :(

    Being indirectly involved in helping to fundraise for the new St Francis Hospice in Blanchardstown I know that Brian was a very, very loyal supporter of the initiative and helped greatly in its progress to its present very advanced state. May he rest in peace- condolences to his immediate and wider family.

    Thanks for all that you did Brian. A great and hard working man to the end. A big loss to your family and friends and a big loss to Dublin 15 and Irish politics which will be very hard to replace.
