No, there is however numerous apps you can get with cabbage being one of them that allows you to send your webtexts from your phone.

Three - 333 texts/pm
Meteor - 300 texts/pm
02 - 250 texts/pm
Vodafone - 600 texts/pm

If you mostly text people with smart phones you can use programs like ebuddy xms and whatsapp amongst others to text people who are also using those apps. They are not SMS messages exactly but if you use them where possible you can save a fortune.
