ACCA CATPaper 9 ; IRL Tax variant

    hi,

    I would like to know some info about ACCA CAT Paper 9; I plan to take IRL Tax variant,
    About the study materials, I could not find any specific IRL Variant material in BPP or Kaplan for paper 9. What I saw is a general book. That book does not say anything about any specific Variant.

    In syllabus, ACCA says about four manuals from Irish Tax Institute Tax Technician Programme

    1. Income Tax and payroll Compliance
    2. Capital Taxes compliance
    3. Business Taxes Compliance
    4. VAT and Other Indirect Taxes Compliance

    Where can I buy these study material without registering for Tax Technician Programme (course) with Irish Tax Institute?

    Pls help someone who has already crossed this bridge!

    We use the students tax handbook by Tom Conlon.It comes from McKeon Murray Publications tel 012959087 or email info@mckeonmurray.ie. they also have a revision workbook which is useful

    Do I have to study any other book with this, or just this one for Paper 9?

    For CAT Dec 2011 Exam, this 'Students Tax Handbook 2010' would be OK, I hope??

    However, I could not find any “revision workbook " online. Would you be able to give me any more info on the “revision workbook ", Pls?

    I understand that a text for Paper 9 is published by Mel Kilkenny - includes last number of exam papers updated. Dont have direct contact but he lecturers for Independent Colleges.

    I had planned to sit this exam in decemeber 2010 , betweeen 1 thing and nother I never did , but I have some text books , when I get home this evening I will PM you with the details if you like ?
