    Caught off the rocks in Clare. Any ideas?

    Thats a Pollock,

    its red colour is from it's habitat, as it is found mostly swimming in kelp
    cod also have similar red colour when living in kelp for lengthy times.

    I was thinking Pollock too.But i have never seen one that colour.A beautiful fish all the same
