It depends on how much you earn and what type of payment he is receiving?

My boyfriend works but I don't. I currently claim job seekers allowance and receive the full amount. Your not working full time so it should not affect you. Also you should apply for rent allowance it can be a huge help.

He can claim for you as a dependent person I think or you could claim casual dole.

    Talk to citizens advice.
