    Hi Folks,

someone that was unemployed is sure his loan is protected and paid back by the insurer. What in case if he/she has found a part-time work? how does it effect the payment? Does the insurer automatically stop paying the loan? or how it works? have you any idea / experience?

    regards

If you're working then AFAIK payment protection stops, and you won't be entitled to it again with a part time job.

I hope dear Magic that you are wrong - lets add more details: assumed: part time worker is put on a casual basis work; the insurer pays 400 E / month of payment ; the man works 2 days per month (as demanded) earning on hand 150 Euro. The days he was working hes been signed off in welfare office so hes been not paid by welfare the amount - lets say 2x60E = 120 E. Thus his real income in a months mounts to 30 Euro. If the insurer refuses continuing payments thas would be not fair to the worker. Maybe they ( the insurers ) apply some other measures to him? what do you think people with good will?

I think he's right, it's usually payment protection against redundancy, if you are back working again even if part time then you are not out of work. When was insurance ever fair!
