Cheers for the quick reply bunny. I havent got the swift very long still getting used to it. Its quite a step up from a .22WMR! How would the federal compare with the Hornady 55gr V-Max? I just got the one box of federal today to try them.cost me 42 quid  so i hope their good!

Their my usual fodder I think theyre very good, i tried soft points and didnt like them, the hollow points pack a hell of a punch they often dont leave any entry wound but blow the other side out! The vmax explodes more and makes a more dramatic impact wound! God €42 is very pricey i priced 200 v shock in january and they were 370 and I thought that was a bit excessive! I always found the federal cheaper than the vmax thats why I stuck with them!

I thought 42 euro was a bit steep myself thats why i only got one box,but it didnt suprise with this particular dealer. He's a bit expensive for most things! My usual dealer is 38 euro for a box of vmax, but reckons he could get me them at 30 if i bought in bulk! He doesnt stock federal for the swift.

God that would be good value at 30 a box, my advice buy enough at that price! But if he's ordering in you could get him to price the federals. Even if you hit the fox toward the hind huarters with them he's still going down!

Was thinking the same myself 30 a box is pretty good for swift ammo.I have a friend who owns a swift and he doesnt rate vmax at all!He uses remmington soft noses. I'll try the box of federal and see if the rifle likes them.Hopefully get to try one out on Charlie:)! If they work out I'll talk to my dealer see if he can get me some.
