I have OS 10.6.7 on a MacBook Pro that I got earlier in the year. I have seen the ad for the OS X Lion and wonder if this is for me.
If I bought the App would it upgrade my system? Would it be of benefit to me?

Have a look at the new features to see if you think it will benefit you.

I always like to wait a while so they can iron out any early issues.

I rather having a disk too, the last Snow Leopard update was €30 for the DVD so it might be better waiting for that.

Backup your important files before updating just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for that. Wondered about the disc issue alright. I'll look further into it nearer the time and decide then.

Have a look in the Mac forum, we've been discussing Lion there.
